Carol Meldrum
Textile artists Carol Meldrum is mainly inspired by Scottish themes and motifs. This is done through her beatknit range as she pays homage to classic heritage and expressive textile designs. The beatknit range is a comprehensive designer collection, which encompasses knitting & crochet accessories. This formula creates a uniquely hand crafted take on nostalgic vintage textiles; overall beatknit is designed to cater for everyone.

Helen Brown
Although, Helen enjoys painting a wide variety of subject matter she has developed a love of figurative drawing, especially the female form. Her aim is not to re-create a true representation of the subject, but through the influence of music, she tries to produce marks that reflect the flowing lines, the mood and most importantly the very “essence” of the subject. Spontaneity is the key in her work. She also enjoys working on murals and large scale pieces with a theatrical theme and is happy to accept commissions and can be contacted by email: gordon_helen@outlook.com.

Jane Ronie
I totally love glass! It is the most exciting medium to work with particularly using the kilnforming process.  Colour, shape, form and light along with the kiln programme are all things to take into account when designing and forming with glass. I began by producing fused glass jewellery and have progressed into bigger pieces of wall art.

My interest is moving towards architectural pieces and glass casting.  You can see more of my work on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/JaneRonieGlass.

Isabel Sarran (Tristan & Iseult) - Textiles
Isabel Sarran is a textile artist, who specialises in felt making and nuno felting. Along the craftsmanship of felt making there is an element of surprise because felt is not tame and will always present you with an unique piece of beauty. Felt is such an inspiring material to work with. Isabel loves creating beautiful but usable art that convinces through colours, textures and a wide array of materials. During NEOS, visitors will be able to view the versatility of her art work as well as being able to see the process of felt making in the vibrant setting of the Aberdeen Waldorf School's exhibition venue. Please visit her webpage www.tristanandiseult.com for even more details.

Beate Allerton - Photographer
My images are inspired by nature, especially up close and personal. I am particularly drawn to the fragile elements in our lives and on our planet and seeing connections that run through all of these. Through macro photography I love making visible the often unnoticed objects, patterns and textures in familiar territory and in Photoshop I love creating new pictures found within images or creating something completely new.
